Questions worth asking.......ourselves

Here is a document that has almost sixty questions which I believe are worth answering about yourself and your business. My suggestion is that you download it, print it and fill it in in less than 5 minutes. The answers will come naturally and when completed put it away for 24 hours and come back to it.

Your answers may confirm certain things that you already know, they may prompt you to take action or they may motivate you to start the Strategic Planning process that so many businesses lack (I have a number of articles on Strategic Planning that may interest you). Either way it may be a worthwhile to complete this exercise every 6 months and compare the answers to your previous responses.

I have one request and that is not to be too harsh on yourself when reflecting on the answers you have provided. We must always recognise that we are on a continual journey and learning is an integral part of that.


Finally, as we approach the end of a difficult year for many of us we should take time out to reflect on the lessons learned and how they will help us improve the year ahead. We have had to make big changes in 2020 driven by Covid which has taken us well outside of our comfort zone but we survived and that resilience should be the catalyst for driving us forward in 2021.
